Chaos. That is the only way to describe this place lately. It is the week of the Big Move, and my craft room looks like a bomb went off in here. Of course, that is not stopping me from spending my nights knitting as usual.

Finished the tea cozies. The one on the left is standing up, the one on the right is lying down, completely ruining all perspective in this picture. The left one is about 1/3 the size of the other. Stupid camera. Yeah, it is all the camera’s fault.

These babies are out of here as soon as I figure out how to tie the right knots in the cord. Today. Goodbye, little tea cozies.

Meanwhile, I was searching for a pattern to make a chemo cap and came across this hat pattern. Immediately had to start making it. I love doing short row shaping. The double stranding makes it a really quick and easy job, too. Sorry about the colors, Lisa. They were the only ones I had two skeins each of to work with right now. So there.

Finished a few more warm up squares and got them in the mail. Sewed a couple of blankets. Stayed up nights thinking about my new craft room. I’m going over to take some pictures of it now that it is empty tomorrow. Whee!

So, three guesses what this cloth pattern was supposed to be? Yeah, I can’t tell either and I drew the stupid thing. It was called wine bottle when I wrote it up, but I have no idea what it turned out as.

The tea cozy is almost done, just another inch or so on side two. This is going much faster than the first side, since I already did the math part of adjusting the pattern to the weird ass teapot my friend has.

Been to Michael’s lately? They are having a ridiculous sale on some fun Moda Dea yarns, about 70% off of the regular retail price. Being cheap, I would never try them at full price, but could not resist them on sale. This is the beginning of a little foofy clutch bag type thing, I think.

This weekend I need to finish the cozy and the small matching cozy to accompany it, and sew a couple of blankets. All while packing up the house for the move in what, 11 days? I have a feeling a lot of stuff is hitting the curb rather than being carted off to clutter up the new place.
