With all those socks to be getting done, obviously first priority is a second ipod necklace, right? I did this one with a cotton/merino blend so it is all soft and fabulous. Won’t need to be making another any time soon.

Baby socks on size 4 needles to catch up with the sock thing.

Started next week’s already, here we go!

I’m itching to dye that sportweight merino, but there is way too much to do around here this week to become distracted by the pretty colors.

No socks today. I am doing a pair of toddler socks this week to catch up after last week. I’ll get those done tomorrow or Saturday.

Did finish this ipod necklace, and immediately started a new one because I don’t like these colors, and I don’t like the feel of the wool on my neck. I’m just so delicate, you see.

Speaking of delicate things, that lace baby blanket is officially now six skeins of sportweight sock yarn waiting to be handpainted. I can sew the kid a blanket. Yep. That’s how that worked out.

Hey there. I didn’t vanish. I kind of did for a day or two when we got hit with those crazy thunderstorms and our power was out forever and ever…but we’re not about that here are we? Let’s knit.

This is my fifth pair of socks for the 52 pair KAL. I am a couple of days late with them for various reasons but really, knitting them on the Addi Lace Turbos was a huge, huge mistake. Those things are so sharp. They are going away, immediately.

Anyway, I was determined to see my handpainted yarn knit up, so I made it. Up to the ankles at least. Anklets are cute. Sure.

They did this lovely kind of mirrored pooling thing with the blue, while the green and purple striped quite evenly in their own little swirly way. I’ll be interested to see what the other colorways look like as well. In case you happen to have been sent one. I’m just sayin’. Of course two of you I haven’t sent it to yet, so I’ll um, go do that. Love ya.

Note: The Lace Baby Blanket made it another twelve rows or so, got frogged. Again. That’s three times now. It has one more chance before these skeins of natural colored yarn become handpainted skeins of sportweight yarn. The Blanket has been warned.
