oh look, there’s a blog here

I have not posted in a week, wth? I have been posting my daily thing on the Thing-A-Day, and then I get all lazy and don’t click on another button to post to this blog as well. Seriously, it’s a click of a button and a bit more typing. What is wrong with me?

Nothing much exciting has happened, although the girl child has discovered her girliness with a vengeance. We now do daily painting of toes and fingernails, are completely obsessed with shoes, and actually sit still to have our hair done. This all happened, like, within three days. Amazing.

Oh, and I stuck some googly eyes on a shopping cart. The googly eyes are now officially a Movement, join up and get your googly on with us.

no time for the blogging, must edit

Besides my thing for the Thing-A-Day, today I took down the christmas tree. I know. I know. But it was in a corner of the house I never use, so what did I care?

The new site for the show is as done as it is going to get for a little while, you can see it at http://inuiy.com and eventually the forwarding of http://itsnotusitsyou.com will be fixed and you can use that link as always. We’ve added forums, a blog, links, come check it out. (If you happen to know how to get the rss feed to html in a more elegant way, please, please, let me know.)

I also went to the craft store today and picked up Mardi Gras mask making supplies for fourteen children tomorrow morning. So…now I need to hurry and get episode 33 up, and get ready for the big craft adventure. Eek.

January is over, yay!

Which also means today starts the Thing-A-Day challenge. I made my thing, did you?

Finished another book, She Got Up Off the Couch by Haven Kimmel. Started one of her novels, but I don’t remember which one and I cannot be bothered to go look right now. I did try to read this book, but it was just too weird for me. I know, right? But seriously, a rollerskating astronaut, come on.

This weird black shirt showed up in the laundry a few months ago. Mr. Rain and I kept tossing it back and forth for a while, refusing to claim ownership. Honestly, it wouldn’t fit either of us, and look at the shape? It’s wider (really wide, too) than it is tall.

So I took it on a field trip, and let it loose in the wild. Hopefully some short, wide person will come across it and make good use of it.

No fresh googly eye installations, but I am going out next week with an accomplice, so I’ll have a ‘lookout’ and can try a bit more daring googly eye placements.
